The  Formation of Hakka  Culture


Hakka, one of important family members of enter Chinese nation, it is a Han nationality with distinctive characteristics, a geographical group of the Han nationality. Hakka culture, in the process of development to be the ethnic group, in order to adapt and modify the living conditions, it was born by the combination of all  material culture and spiritual culture .

 

Once this kind of culture was born, it became the core strength of identification and maintenance of the survival and development of this group .In another word, without the Hakka ethnic group, there was not Hakka culture. However, without the long term stable development of Hakka culture, the Hakka group won’t have such a strong vitality . With this vitality Hakka group remained the connection to each other until now over hundreds of thousands of years. 


The population of  Hakka ethnic group widely spread in the land, amongst Guangdong ,Fujian and Jiangxi border triangle area. In China these became the main residential area, overseas mainly the south east Asia. The Hakka culture was formed through the specific historical condition, through the immigration it became a distinctive regional culture.
