The Reception by the Hong Kong Media to celebrate the 73rd Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China was held on the afternoon of 22 September at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. The Hong Kong Media gathered with more than 300 guests to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the People's Republic of China. Hong Kong Chief Executive Li Ka-chao, Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po, Deputy Secretary Wong Wai-lun, Secretary for Justice Lam Ting-kwok, Chief Secretary for Administration Chan Kwok-ki and leaders of the Liaison Office of the Central Committee all attended the reception. The leaders in Hongkong from the World Hakka Business Association attending the reception were Chairman Li Kam-Chung AND VICE Chairman, Mr Luo Dexiang , Mr Li Kwan-Yuen, Mr Li Guowei , Mr Chiu Hui-WING, Mr Peng Changwei AND Vice president Mr Huang Chi Xiong.

The event OF National Day Celebration Reception this year was even more grand and enthusiastic than before, fully demonstrating the achievements of Hong Kong's governance and prosperity. At the beginning of the reception, all stood up respectfully for the national anthem. Speaking on the stage, Chief Executive Li Ka-chao said he was proud to join you in celebrating the 73rd anniversary of the People's Republic of China. He pointed out that China has made remarkable achievements in culture, science, technology, sports and economy, and the return of Hong Kong is an important milestone in the country's development. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China. It is a crucial point for Hong Kong to make a new leap and open a new chapter.

Dr. Li Kwan-yuen, Executive Vice Chairman and General Chief Supervisor, received the Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of the Association on the stage . The reception was filled with enthusiasm and guests interacted with each other warmly. The event ended with the sound of joyful music. All the guests waved the national flag and regional flag in their hands to wish the country be prosperous and the people living at peace, wish Hong Kong with prosperity and stability and a brighter future.
